JapanLA Clothing is launching their very first collection, which happens to be with JapanLA’s beloved friend, Hello Kitty! I was fortunate enough to work with them on their lookbook and am really proud of what they’ve been able to accomplish for their first line. Giveaway information is below for those who wish to skip my text.
Everything in their Holiday 2012 collection is made is the U.S.A., where they could locally meet with the manufacturers to ensure all their designs came out the way they wanted and to their quality requirements. The end result is a high quality line that will excite fans of Hello Kitty, even in this crazy, over saturated market.
Our entire team was phenomenal and we had a blast. The Pandora station we were listening to was one point, changing music to match some of our outfits. I have to give a special thanks to my buddy mmmtangerine for letting me borrow one of his strobes for the shoot!
This was Stephiee’s first time styling a shoot, but with her natral sense of colorful fashion, she did a fantastic job showcasing the different ways people can style all their pieces aside from the basic t-shirt and leggings combo (not that there’s anything wrong with that; it’s my basic go to look).
For anyone concerned with the length of the skirt, ModCloth will be selling a version that is 3 inches longer than the one in this shot.
To celebrate, here’s your opportunity to win the Hello Kitty Face Dress (Red) or the Galaxy Leggings in the size of your choice! [Small: 0-4, Medium: 6-10, Large: 10-14]
